This is a very sturdy, well made key ring, however,  It does not work with the particular medallion I wanted to use it for.  I purchased two of these. One medallion fits nicely although it spins once inside... No biggie. The other medallion is about five hairs too thick and the clamshell will not close. It is very very close.... Just not close enough. The intended medallion appears to be the same size as most, but evidently, not quite.  While I'm disappointed that my husband's 39-year chip will not fit, I'm sure I can gift it to another friend celebrating an anniversary.

I  was happy to find this Key Ring Holder on line.  Having bought another style - flimsy - from a different merchant I was glad to find this sturdy Key Ring.  It looks like it will last for years and hopefully encase next year's chip, one day at a time.
