It is our hope that you find that each piece reflects both of the following qualities: attention to detail and the intention of celebrating recovery. We believe that it is the combination of these very wonderful attributes that truly makes a piece of jewelry shine. The Recovery Emporium and each of our affiliates have found great joy in the experience of sharing the many gifts that we have encountered while on this "journey."
Attention to Detail: The many intricacies that each of our recovery jewelry products share are hard-won from many years of experience in the jewelry business. This level of intricacy does not merely happen by accident or by luck. The coupling of our jewelers' experience and their own dedication to providing quality work ensures that each piece is not only eye-catching, but a celebration of your time in recovery.
Intention - Celebrating Recovery - The 12 Steps provide a path for growth and freedom from addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. The freedom created by our "work" in recovery allows space for peace, serenity, and joy emotions that were seldom experienced in our time in active addiction.

Materials: Sterling silver is 92.5 percent (925 parts) pure silver and 7.5 percent (75 parts) alloy metal. Sterling is the primary material used for silver jewelry. Silver is considered too soft for practical use in jewelry. For this reason, an alloy such as copper may be added to silver to make it workable for jewelry. Silver-copper eutectic and modifications containing other elements such as zinc, tin, cadmium, phosphorus, or lithium are widely used for the purpose of jewelry making as it is necessary to create strong joints have a high resistance to corrosion.
Caring for Your Ring: the following is a list of the "Dos and Don'ts" of caring for your sterling silver jewelry:
Store your jewelry individually - a soft pouch or in a separate compartment in a jewelry or storage box would make for a great place to store silver jewelry.
Keep your silver in a cool, dry place- sterling silver, like other precious metals, can oxidize with time. It is a good idea to store silver in a tarnish-proof cloth or in drawers lined with tarnish-resistant strips.
Use restoration methods and items labeled "intended for use on silver" - a paste, liquid polish, or a treated polishing cloth are appropriate tools for restoring tarnished silver jewelry. Additionally, one may consider washing the jewelry with warm water, rubbing in a little soap or toothpaste, rinsing and then patting dry with a fine soft cloth.
Prevent tarnish by wearing your sterling jewelry and wearing it often - wearing your silver jewelry is an effective method known for maintaining the allure of your sterling silver jewelry.
Toss your jewelry into a drawer and/or allowing pieces to rub against each other - there are many things that may result in the scratching of your jewelry and improper storage is one of the most common mistakes found in the care of silver.
Use tissue paper or paper towels to clean your sterling silver jewelry - using improper cleaning solutions or tools may lead to the scratching of your jewelry.
Quality Products: It is our hope that when the transaction is complete you will be satisfied with the item and service that we have provided to you and that in turn you will consider leaving our store positive feedback.
Wear your silver jewelry in chlorinated water or when working with cleaners such as bleach or ammonia - this may lead to the tarnishing of your jewelry or even worse cause irreparable damage to your silver.
